The Mighty Good Times

The Mighty Good Times are a new 6-piece Rock n’ Roll/Americana band from Richmond, Va. After a wild, eleven-year run with his band People’s Blues of Richmond, Tim Beavers II decided it was time for a fresh start. PBR (a 3-piece) toured the US feverishly for over a decade landing two appearances at Lockn, an opening slot with ZZ Topp and Gregg Allman at Red Rocks, three sets at Electric Forest, Mountain Music Fest, and several years on the Sweetwater 420 Fest lineup (to name a few).

Tim’s honest songwriting about his battles with love, loss, depression, and addiction have reached people in every corner of America and his rambunctious onstage antics have raised the bar for performers across the country. Now Tim is joining forces with his fire-spinning, piano-playing wife Brittany Beavers, Jonny Powell (guitar) and Tara Dillard (violin) from Richmond favorites ‘The Folly’, and a rock-solid rhythm section comprised of Jake Lawrence and Ryan Bowman from the Virginia-native band Lake Anna.

The Mighty Good Times are currently booking their 2020 US takeover with gigs pouring in from every direction based solely on reputation and a couple demos released on Bandcamp in late November 2019. They’ve already confirmed slots at two large festivals for the summer and gotten the attention of major booking and management companies (not to mention dozens of bands of all sizes who’ve already reached out to set up shows). There’s a lot to announce in the coming months so don’t blink or you might miss the meteoric rise of the next great American band… and some Mighty Good Times along the way!
