We hope you are excited for Mountain Music Festival happening this week at ACE Adventure Resort. We wanted to send you some information to speed up your arrival and fill you in on all the details for this exciting weekend only hours away!
Arrival
The campground will open daily at 10:00 AM for new arrivals. Be sure you have your e-ticket with QR code printed out or easily accessible on your phone when you arrive. If everyone in your vehicle has their tickets as you pull up to the resort you can get checked in without leaving your car. The ticket attendants will scan the QR code on your ticket to check you into the event. If you need to purchase additional tickets, early arrival or anything else you will be directed into the Welcome Center. Please note cell phone service might be spotty so it’s best to screenshot or download your tickets to your phone.
Cabin Check In
If you are staying in a cabin or cabin tent you will need to check in at the Welcome Center to get keys to your lodging accommodations. Cabin check in begins at 4pm daily and check out is at 10am.
Parking Pass
New this year, parking is included with your weekend pass. So there is no need to purchase a parking pass. You will receive a parking pass when you arrive and have your tickets scanned in. Please hang your parking pass from your rearview mirror. Single day tickets DO NOT include camping and will be directed to park at the bottom of the mountain and ride the free shuttle to the festival site.
Early Arrival
If you have an early arrival pass you are able to arrive on the day designated on your early arrival ticket. You MUST also possess a 2-Day Ticket with Early Arrival and Super Early Arrival Passes. Early arrival passes are per person.
Campground Assignments
All camping is car camping and you will be camping next to your vehicle. Please be aware that you will be assigned a parking spot and camping spot in the order in which you arrive. Our parking attendants are not able to “hold spots” for later arrivals. If you arrive prior to the rest of your camping party we suggest you hang out around the bottom of the mountain. Stop by the waterpark or have a snack at the bar while you wait for the rest of your party to arrive. Once your camping group is all onsite then you can make your way to the Mountaintop Campground so you can camp together. You are welcome to leave your campsite but we strongly suggest that you keep your vehicle in place once parked for the weekend to ensure your space is not taken by a rogue camper.

Ride the Shuttle
ACE Adventure Resort will provide a free shuttle bus that will travel the property 24 hours a day starting at noon on Thursday – 9AM on Sunday morning. Look for designated shuttle stops or wave down one of the big blue buses if you are looking for a ride. For the guests staying in cabins in the Turkey Spur area you will need to transfer buses behind the Welcome Center. The Turkey Spur Shuttle will loop through that area of the resort every 30 minutes.
Food
We have some great food options for you this weekend. Visit one of the many food vendors inside the Main Stage area. There are also food vendors in the campground on H Lane. ACE’s bar/restaurant, The Lost Paddle, is located next to the waterpark and has a full menu including a breakfast buffet, dinner buffet and full bar. Check out The Lost Paddle on Friday and Saturday afternoon for music on The Lake Stage.
Music & Schedule
There are two stages. The Mountaintop Main Stage is located at the main festival grounds and features music Friday and Saturday. The Lake Stage is located at The Lost Paddle by the Waterpark. The Thursday night kickoff party will happen on The Lake Stage as well as music Friday and Saturday. Checkout the daily stage schedule HERE.
FREE Workshops
Take part in free workshops offered Friday and Saturday. Most workshops meet and happen inside The Pigment Sanctuary Art Gallery. Checkout the daily workshop schedule HERE.
Waterpark & Waivers
If you are planning on visiting the ACE Adventure Waterpark you will need to purchase passes and complete a waiver. Waterpark passes can be purchased in advance on the tickets page of our website. If you pre-purchased waterpark passes you will be able to pickup your wristband the day of your visit at the tent and kiosk in front of the waterpark entrance. If you wish to speed up your entry process into the waterpark please complete the waiver in advance by clicking HERE.
Adventures with ACE
Looking to hit the river and go whitewater rafting or zip lining with ACE Adventure Resort? You can book your trip in advance by visiting their website HERE or calling the reservation office at 304-469-2651. You can always visit the Welcome Center during your visit to see what activities and adventures are available.
Kids 10 & Under Free @ the Gate
Children 10 and under accompanied by a paying adult are admitted free to the festival at the gate. This includes camping and music. Please note youth rates may apply for the waterpark and other adventure activities.
ICE – Firewood – Festival Merchandise
Visit the ACE Adventure Gear booth to pickup firewood bundles, bags of ice and MMFest merchandise. The Welcome Center also has these items available for purchase.
Quiet/Family Camping
Quiet camping is located in Upper Blackberry Campground. When being directed to your campsite tell the parking staff you want the quiet/family camping area and they will direct you to that location.
Accessible Parking
There is accessible parking located near the entrance to the main stage area. You will need to turn into the VIP camping on Lane E. Accessible parking laminate must be visible on your rearview mirror. Find more details on accessibility during the event on the About Page of our website HERE.
Cell Service/WIFI
Cell phone service on the mountain is dependent upon your service provider. AT&T works great everywhere at the resort while Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint do not have the best service. Please be prepared for your cell phone to not work while at Mountain Music Festival. WIFI is available at the resort center area near the waterpark, Welcome Center and Lost Paddle as well as near the main festival site. The network “ACE Adventure Hotspot” is open and available for use.
Medical Assistance
A First Aid Tent is located at the main gate to the Main Stage area. If you need medical assistance you can call our Medical Help Line at 304-640-4118.
Severe Weather
In the event of severe weather we suggest you shelter in place inside your vehicle or the nearest building to your location.
What to Bring
Use this festival camping checklist we put together for you to make packing a little less stressful. If you forget something, don’t worry because we have an outfitter store on the resort property and the Welcome Center has a lot of camping necessities. Don’t forget ACE Adventure Gear will also be setup on vendor lane at the Main Stage area too.
