Antwaun Stanley

Antwaun Stanley is a singer/songwriter with a soaring and richly emotive voice that blends elements from gospel, pop, soul and R&B. It’s tough to distinguish his sound as one genre in particular. Rather, his style is an amalgamation of his many influences. And his vocal stylings have shined as a collaborator with a number of artists throughout his career.  Antwaun’s college years brought him to the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor to further develop and hone his craft, while networking and building long-lasting relationships. In addition to his release of a billboard-charting gospel album, he would also create waves around town with a 10-piece college funk band.  This connection would eventually lay the foundation for his partnership with Vulfpeck.  Since featuring on the band’s first vocal track, “Wait for the Moment,” he has witnessed and enjoyed the group’s meteoric rise in popularity as both a live-touring partner and frequent collaborator. In 2021, Antwaun released a joint EP called Ascension with producer Tyler Duncan. In February of this year, Antwaun wrapped up an extensive and successful US tour with guitarist Cory Wong. And he is currently working on a full-length album that will explore even more of his dynamic range. From The Blind Pig to Madison Square Garden, no matter how big or small the venue, Antwaun’s animated and electrifying voice always brings the stage alive.
