Rachel Rowse is a North Carolina based artist. She graduated from Appalachian state in 2018 with a BFA and a minor in psychology. She uses a variety of semi permanent media such as water color, pen and ink, and acrylics to create intricate mixed media illustrations. Her work is a place to encourage herself and others to explore, embrace and celebrate the unseen details of life. She focus on bringing forth topics from phycology and observations made in daily life that she feels are easily overlooked but extremely important to understanding ourselves and the world around us in a more positive light.
