Hello and thank you for being here. My name is David Pantoja and I am an artist from Ashtabula Ohio, specializing in Pyrography (woodburning) and experimenting with other mediums.

I’ve drawn my whole life and would consider myself mostly self taught, though I’m always learning from those around me. In 2012 I learned pyrography while in a rehab for drug addiction and realized the majestic qualities of applying heat energy to the wood to create realistic pieces of art with stunning details and values. It literally saved my life and gave me a new purpose and passion. I began to do art professionally in 2016 and have taught, performed, and displayed at about 10 festivals/events thus far including the Werkout, Pyro Music Festival and Love Fest.

I truly believe this is a gift from the universe and has led me to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the world around me. The meaning behind my artist handle Burning Love, besides just woodburning, is a burning passion for everything I do and make, and all the people I meet along the way. This is all for you.
