The Pigment Sanctuary
The amount of amazing art you will find on the mountain is pretty incredible. The Pigment Sanctuary is a collection of over 30 visual artists. You’ll find artists showcasing their works and creating paintings, sculptures and more before your eyes. The Pigment Sanctuary is one of our favorite places to sit down, unwind and take in everything that is Mountain Music Festival. The visual artists residing in this space are super excited to meet you and show off their extraordinary work. Look for the visual artist lineup to be released soon.
Performers on the Mountaintop
Fire, flow and even sideshow performances are coming to Mountain Music Festival this fall. We have always welcomed performers to take part in our event and showcase their special skills. This year we will once again be highlighting a number of flow performers on the mountain. The fire circle will be burning Friday and Saturday nights and is open to qualified fire artists who attend the daily safety meeting. There will also be some unbelievable main stage fire performances in between musical performances. Stay tuned for our performer lineup coming out in March.
Wonderland Body Art Lounge
New for 2023 we are bringing a new immersive art installation to the event. Fall down the rabbit hole into Wonderland and you never know what you might find. Inside the Wonderland Body Art Lounge you are going to find visual artists creating amazing works onto a human canvas. Get your face painted or visit the glitter bar and get a rhinestone makeover.
Workshops for Everyone
Immerse yourself in the magic and the art with free workshops happening all weekend. There will be a wide range of subjects to choose from including yoga, flow instruction, mindfulness sessions, visual art and more. Be sure to check the weekend workshop schedule when you arrive and make plans to take part in some of these classes. Keep an eye out for a full list of free workshops being offered as we get closer to the festival.

Live music art, art, camping, great people; Mountain Music Festival has it all right here in The New River Gorge, WV. Tickets are on sale now and we still have 2-Day Passes available to catch all the action on Friday and Saturday. Over 20 bands are set to entertain throughout the weekend including Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, The Infamous Stringdusters, Andy Frasco, Big Something, Rising Appalachia & more.
