West Virginia masters of funk, The M.F.B. will be bringing their animated stage show to the Tito’s Strange Stage Friday night. Look for Funkle Sam to bring a hedonistic crescendo of raw energy combing the theatrics of Freddie Mercury, the eccentricity of Frank Zappa, and dancing prowess of James Brown. THE M.F.B.’s shows spill from stage to dance floor to cultivate impromptu conga lines, dance competitions, and an intense funky insanity that marks the band as insatiable for good times. Opposite Box

Hailing from Chattanooga, TN Opposite Box will be putting the final wrap on MMFest 2018 with Saturday’s late night party in the campground. This band came highly recommended from one of our MMFest friends Nick MacDaniels of Big Something. Opposite Box’s music is marked by 70s prog-inspired jazz/rock and sensory overloading live performances that are perfect for fans of Frank Zappa, Funkadelic, Aquarium Rescue Unit, The Mars Volta and Mr. Bungle. Reviewed by Enigma Magazine Opposite Box who has always been a controlled explosion on stage, still keeps that improvisational feel while adding funk and jazz to the mix. We love the funk!
