I am an artist currently residing in Harrisonburg, VA, where I received my BFA in Fine Art from James Madison University. It’s not easy for me to define my artwork. Like many, my childhood was quite tumultuous, so I’ve spent a lot of my life tackling depression and anxiety. Making art has given me a space to process and transform all of that negativity into something filled with color and optimism. Artmaking is my mode of exploration and the destination lies in the deepest corners of my mind; it’s where one can find connection and a comfortable please for self-reflection. I hope your journey through my surreal swirls of vivid colors, wildlife, and portraiture fill you with love, healing, and hope.
