Postponing Mountain Music Festival

Dear Mountain Music Festival Family,

We have been closely watching the COVID-19 situation unfold here at ACE Adventure Resort where we have currently suspended our operations until at least April 15th. We are watching our fellow festivals and music venues postponing and canceling their events due to this virus. We absolutely want to see everyone on the mountain this summer and the last thing we want to have to do is postpone Mountain Music Festival. But due to the recommendation from the local Fayette County Health Department in the interest of keeping everyone’s health and safety as top priority we simply cannot move forward with our event as scheduled.

With that said, we will be postponing Mountain Music Festival until June 3-5, 2021.

We decided to move to June of 2021 for the number of reason listed below:

  • We realize that the fall season is going to be oversaturated with events that have been rescheduled, along with the original already scheduled fall events.  We wanted to make sure everyone can enjoy everything they have already planned for fall, give some breathing space to get back to normal, and not miss out on any other events due to the financial stress this is putting on all of us.
  • Artists will also be very busy in the fall due to all the rescheduling, and we want to keep the same lineup as much as possible (maybe adding some surprises!) This will give us the best chances for that.
  • We believe that this situation will have concluded by then and life should be back to normal.
  • With the CDC recommending no crowds larger than 50 people for the next 8 weeks (until May 10th), this will put us too close to make the call after the 8 week period if we were still needed to postpone due to the virus. Making a call so close to our event is not fair to all of you, our vendors, staff, crew, and other supporters who already may have made plans or blocked their calendars.

ACE Adventure Resort is a small locally owned business, and it is painful for us to make this decision. However our primary concern is the safety and health of all of you, our vendors, artists, staff, crew, and supporters.  This has put everyone in a tough spot, but we will all come out of this and life will return to normal.

If you have purchased tickets for Mountain Music Festival there are a number of options listed below. You can manage your ticket reservation here.

Roll your Ticket Forward to 2021

Your ticket will be valid for the rescheduled date in June 2021.

Exchange your Ticket for Credit with ACE Adventure Resort

The face value of your ticket will be credited as a rain check that can be used for anything at ACE Adventure Resort excluding alcohol. Come back and visit us this summer for a whitewater rafting, ziplining or play at the waterpark.

Donate your Ticket

In these uncertain times we are all struggling to make ends meet and keep businesses open. We are working hard to retain as much of our staff as possible and mitigate the economic effects from this disaster. If you are financially able to do so and wish to donate the face value of your ticket towards Mountain Music Festival during this time of crisis we would be forever grateful.

Request a Refund

If you wish to receive a refund for your ticket select this option and we will contact you about the current status of our refund policy. Please do not call the reservation office at ACE Adventure Resort or Vendini support as we have a specialized team in place working to resolve these refunds and requests.

If you have a reservation with ACE Adventure Resort for lodging, waterpark passes, or adventure activities such as whitewater rafting or zip lining please know that those reservations are backed by ACE’s new Fee-Free Trip Rescheduling & Raincheck Promise. Feel free to contact ACE Adventure Resort at 304-469-2651 to make any necessary adjustments to those reservations.

Thank you for understanding that we are in uncharted territory and everyone is doing their best during this time of crisis. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the mountain as soon as it is safe to do so. Until then stay safe, stay healthy and party on Appalachia!

Sincerely

Chris Colin,

Mountain Music Festival Coordinator
