“Hi, I’m Kyle Forest. I’m originally from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania (shout out to Groundhog’s Day), and have been living in Pittsburgh for the last 10 years. I am an engineer by trade, and find my artistic expression through string art and fire performing.

I aim to express the beauty of geometric form and symmetry through my art. I see geometry as the language of the universe and the divine fingerprint of the Creator. The process of creating these pieces is very meditative; my mind can relax into the repetitious actions of hammering thousands of nails into a piece of wood, and watching new forms emerge as string connects each nail to the next.

I look forward to returning to the mountain top this year and sharing this magical weekend with you all!
