My name is Billie McCord. My studio is located on our family farm in south East Ohio. I am a 39 year old mother of three and I have been a practicing artist my entire life. My main focus of discipline is painting and woodworking, but I am passionate about all forms of self expression and have adopted a beautiful relationship with teaching. I find great joy in sharing my knowledge about art with others. I am fascinated by folklore and legends, and have a passion for learning about different cultures and their belief systems. My style is infused with a blend of modern pop and American traditional. The pieces that I create are usually a reflection of my current studies. Everything I make is infused with a story or a conversation I’d like to have with the universe.
