THANK YOU for an Incredible Mountain Music Festival 2025!
Wow. Just wow. THANK YOU to everyone who came out and made this past weekend at Mountain Music Festival so special. Year 11 at ACE Adventure Resort was one for the books, and every hug, high five, and smiling face reminded me why we do this. This event is a highlight of my year, and none of it would be possible without the incredible people behind the scenes and all of you who support it.
First and foremost, Charles Hatcher — we’ve been at this together since 2014, and I’m so grateful to still be rocking this mountaintop with you. Having you healthy and present this year meant the world.
Lindsey Pratt, you’ve been crushing it — from weddings to festivals and everything in between. Can’t wait for more adventures by your side. Nathan Poland, your “get it done” attitude is unmatched. You ease so much of the pressure for me, and my feet and muscles thank you.
Ashton Hill and the entire Pigment Sanctuary crew, you brought the mountain to life again this year. The gallery is always my favorite place to escape to — the art, the energy, the community — it’s pure magic.
On the production front, everything ran like a dream. Robbie Lanham, thanks for steering the ship so smoothly. Big thanks to Brandon Dent and Zach Lutman for keeping the side stages on point. Voigt Enterprises, LLC crushed the sound on the main stage, and 81 Productions lit up the mountain with stunning visuals.
Shout out to the dedicated crew at ACE Adventure Resort — Brent Cook, Bryan Bolt, Nena Gardner, Jon Thomas, Randy Blevins — you’re the backbone of this festival. And to Brenda, Emilee, D Nice, and the entire Welcome Center crew, thank you for being the smiling faces that hold down the box office, lodging check-in, and guest services like champs.
Larry Garland and Dragoonis Flame, your fire show and professionalism always blow me away. Watching you impress even the fire marshal was a proud moment.
To Courtney Sargent — stepping up to manage our flow performers on short notice was a lifesaver. You and your team absolutely shined!
Alexander Durand and Nadine Sonneville, you are the maestros of the mountaintop bar. Thanks to you and your hardworking crew, it all ran smoothly and served up good vibes with every drink.
Much love to Lee and our security team, and an especially heartfelt thank you to the 45 volunteers from Recovery Point West Virginia. Your strength, growth, and spirit are inspirational. Stay strong, and know you’ve got a whole mountain cheering you on.
Chris Stover, you’re our 10-foot man, always ready to pick up the slack (and maybe a few bumps and bruises along the way). Love having you on the team, clumsy or not .
Amber Land, whether you’re in the air or on the ground, your presence is powerful. Thank you for wrangling the crew and keeping us all moving forward — Domefest is lucky to have you next.
Mic Pop-Tart Bertal, Jesse Lee, and Jeff Asher — the campground team that keeps it all together. Parking and check-in is no joke, and you handled it like pros.
Hospitality heroes Stephen Reid and Fred Wanty, thank you for taking care of our artists and crew. Backstage looked incredible and the food? Chef’s kiss.
Marcus and Josh, you kept everyone safe, healthy, and cared for with professionalism and compassion. Thanks for making the first aid transition seamless.
Finally, my rock — Sara Jane. Your love, support, and strength keep me going through the long days and nights. After crushing it behind the bar at The Lost Paddle, you still chose to spend your evenings with me. You are the best bartender I know, and I’m beyond lucky to have you by my side. I can’t wait to raise our baby boy together in just two short months.
If I missed anyone, blame the post-festival brain fog — but know that every person who gave their time, energy, and heart to this event is appreciated beyond words.
And of course — to you, the fans, the dreamers, the dancers, the music lovers — thank you for buying tickets, showing up, and creating the magic that is Mountain Music Festival. We pour our hearts into this event all year, and seeing it come to life with your energy is everything.
We’ll be back on the mountain very soon for Domefest, August 7-9 — and we can’t wait to bring that same MMFest magic to the Pigeons Playing Ping Pong family and The Flock. Let’s make more memories together.
Love to you all.
See you on the mountain again real soon.
