Mountain Music Festival at ACE Adventure Resort May 30th – June 2nd is the one festival you want to visit this summer. Over 25 bands including Tyler Childers, The Floozies, Big Something, The Werks, Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band & more will be rocking the mountaintop stage while over 30 visual artists show off their work under the big circus tent. Great WV craft beer and cider will be flowing, tasty food will be cooking and over 25 vendors will have goodies you’ll want to take home. There is so much to see and do on the mountain four days just is not enough time! Thursday Night’s Kickoff Party
Jump-start your weekend at The Lost Paddle onsite at ACE Adventure Resort. The Lost Paddle is ACE’s bar and restaurant that is open year around. This is a perfect place to get some tasty food, cold beer and mixed drinks during your weekend stay. Rocking the stage at The Lost Paddle Thursday night is the Georgia burst of energy that is Funk You. Also adding to the mix will be Travers Brothership and local boys Black Garlic. This will also be the kickoff to the new Black Garlic album, Watts, release tour. Your 4-Day pass gets you into the show Thursday night plus some of the best camping spots on mountaintop. These tickets will sell out soon so don’t miss out on this early start to the weekend.
Wonderland Waterpark
This unique waterpark is an inflatable mecca of trampolines, climbing towers, slides and more in a beautiful mountain valley. This is the best place to spend your Mountain Music Festival afternoons. Lounge around on the sandy beach and cool off in the lake waters while dancing to music echoing from the Greenbrier Valley Brewing Company Lake Stage. The Lost Paddle Bar & Grill is right next to the waterpark so frozen drinks, burgers and brick oven pizza are always close by. Discounted waterpark passes are available when you purchase tickets or you can get them onsite at MMFest.
The Pigment Sanctuary
Be sure to wander into the big red circus tent and experience all the amazing creations made by our team of super talented visual artists. Watch as artists create paintings, sculptures, fabric art and more throughout the weekend. The Pigment Sanctuary is also a great place to unwind and relax in the lounge brought to us by Spiral Roots. Be sure to checkout the workshop schedule that will be posted in the Pigment Sanctuary and take in classes on yoga, flow arts, pottery, painting and more.This is also a gathering place after music shuts down on the main stage. Last year the Pigment Sanctuary hosted musical performances late night and even a cupcake eating contest. We can’t wait to see what is in store under the art big top this summer.
Shuttle Bus Rides Around the Mountain
Getting around the resort is super easy with the free big blue shuttle buses that are circling the property all weekend long. With over 1,500 acres ACE Adventure Resort is huge and while there are over 35 miles of hiking trails and you can definitely trek around the mountain to get where you need to go. However the bus rides make getting to the rest of the resort much easier and quicker. Meet new friends and find out what folks are into as you bounce along our mountain roads. Some of the best comments and reviews we hear are about how fun the bus rides are and how awesome our drivers are. So get on the bus at MMFest and see where you end up.
Get Out and Explore
ACE Adventure Resort has been leading the way on epic trips into the New River Gorge for 40 years now taking folks whitewater rafting, rock climbing, zip lining, mountain biking and more. The most popular trip is to paddle the Lower New River and raft through over 25 rapids finishing your trip under the world famous New River Gorge Bridge. ACE offers half day trips that tackle the rapids and blast downstream or you can opt for the full day trip where you will be treated with a riverside lunch, opportunities to swim, do some cliff jumping and maybe even surf your raft on the river. Aside from whitewater rafting ACE has guides in just about every outdoor adventure your could imagine. There is no reason to leave once the music stops so take part in an adventure activity on Sunday and camp for free that night.
Party on the Mountaintop
