Mountain Music Festival is unlike any other festival you have ever been to mostly because of its location. ACE Adventure Resort has over 1,500 acres situated inside the New River Gorge, an area known for epic adventures from whitewater rafting to rock climbing and mountain biking. Because MMFest takes place at this adventure resort we are able to offer incredible amenities not seen at other music festivals. ACE offers over 60 cabins nestled around the resort, beautiful mountaintop camping, RV sites, a bar/restaurant on property, and even a waterpark.
Cabin in the Woods
When we say ACE has cabins we really mean ACE has over 60 kick ass vacation homes! Your home away from home is a far cry from a rustic cabin in the woods. Right now there are just a few cabins still available for Mountain Music Festival weekend. All you have to do to reserve yours is place a small deposit. Whether you are looking for a small cabin, just for you and your special someone, or a giant house for all your friends there is a lodging option to fit those needs.
The most basic cabin ACE Adventure Resort offers is the Cedar Cabins and they are also the closest to the festival grounds. You can sleep up to six people in these with AC/Heat and you will have your own bathroom. Looking for a bit more room? Check out the two-bedroom chalets offering 2 upstairs bedrooms along with a full kitchen and living room complete with sleeper sofas.
The most popular cabins at ACE are the Laurel Cabins featuring 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. This spot is the perfect space for your weekend base camp. Another great two-bedroom option is the Log Cottages offering great sunset views off the private covered porch. Don’t forget both of these cabin options come with your own private hot tub on the deck too.
Mountaintop Camping
The camping at Mountain Music Festival is some of the best festival camping we have seen in our travels. The entire campground is adjacent to the main stage area and is situated on a 20-acre flat mountaintop. All camping at MMFest is car camping so setting up camp is pretty easy. Don’t forget each vehicle will need to purchase a $25 parking pass to enter mountaintop campground.
Upgrade to VIP and get the best camping spots closest to the main stage area with no need to purchase a parking pass. We have heard so many comments about most festivals offer only porta-potties and you have to pay for a cold low-pressure showers. Not at MMFest where ACE provides real bathrooms featuring free hot showers with better pressure than you have at home!
Cabin Tents/Party Tents
Another cool lodging option at ACE Adventure Resort are the Cabin Tents and Party Tents located right outside the main stage area gate. These tents are covered with a metal roof to keep you shaded and dry. The tents offer raised platforms with camping mattresses keep you off the ground too. Stay close to the party while lounging around your safari style tent on the mountain.
RV’s & Campers
Folks wanting to bring their camper or RV to MMFest have two options. ACE offers RV sites with full power, water, and sewer hookups however there are only a limited number available and they sell out fast. Call ACE Adventure Resort at 877-382-5893 to check on availability. The second option is to get a RV camping pass that will get your camper/RV into the mountaintop campground. We will have a designated area for our friends with campers. These RV Camping spots do not have hookups so be sure to plan accordingly.
